Sikh guru Guru Tegh Bahadur was beheaded on the orders of the Mughal emperor in 1675. Guru Tegh Bahadur burnt down his house to burn the body, which is now Gurudwara Rakab Ganj Sahib. Sikh military leader Baghel Singh, along with his army, occupied the Diwan-i-Aam in Delhi, then an agreement was reached with the Mughal Emperor Shah Alam 2, allowing the Sikhs to raise the gurudwaras in historic places Money helped.
